The duties include teaching, research, and collaboration with the surrounding community. The tasks mainly consist of teaching, supervision, and examination within the social work program, but also our advanced level programs. The teaching includes both theoretical knowledge and practical skills that social workers need in their professional practice. The tasks also include course and program development assignments as well as participation in the department's pedagogical development work. There may be requirements to teach in most programs and courses at the department.

The position also involves fulfilling the administrative tasks that belong to a teaching position and eventually being able to participate in and carry out various management assignments.
