The position offers opportunities to teach and conduct research in areas such as: Power grids, microgrids, and energy storage systems Power electronics High-voltage systems Electrical machines and drives Electrification technologies You will deliver high-quality teaching across undergraduate and postgraduate programs, contribute to curriculum innovation, conduct impactful research, supervise HDR students, and collaborate with industry to deliver practical and future-oriented education. Key Responsibilities At Lecturer Level (B): Design and deliver engaging, student-focused teaching. Conduct and publish independent and collaborative research. Supervise HDR candidates and contribute to program coordination. Engage with industry and professional partners to enhance applied research and learning relevance. At Senior Lecturer Level (C): Provide academic leadership in teaching and curriculum development. Lead high-impact, externally funded research projects. Mentor junior academics and HDR students. Strengthen RMIT’s national and international partnerships. About You PhD (or equivalent) in a relevant field. Demonstrated research record (Level B) or national recognition (Level C). Proven teaching excellence and ability to integrate industry-relevant innovations. Strong communication and collaboration skills. Commitment to inclusive, supportive academic culture.
