About the University

The University of Gothenburg tackles society’s challenges with diverse knowledge. With 56,000 students and 6,600 employees, it is one of Sweden’s largest and most inspiring academic environments. Strong research and attractive programmes attract researchers and students from around the world.

HDK-Valand’s research environment embraces experimental artistic practices and fosters engagement with environmental, social, and cultural challenges through interdisciplinary collaboration.
