Position DescriptionDr. Civelli’s laboratory at the University of California, Irvine, is seeking applications for a full or part-time Specialist. The lab focuses on discovering bioactive compounds from therapeutic plants and their effects through behavioral models. The successful candidate will apply behavioral models in rodents to explore the functions of compounds isolated from therapeutic plants. This role involves hands-on participation in cutting-edge pharmacological research. In addition to the stated basic qualifications, the incumbent should have an interest in pharmacology and natural product research, strong interpersonal and communication skills, and a willingness to actively participate in research meetings.
