To meet this need, the research infrastructure must become more flexible and portable, so that it can be brought to the research subject rather than the research subject coming to the equipment. As part of a recently awarded RJ grant called GoLab, the Humanities Lab needs to recruit new expertise to support a shift toward more mobile, "on-the-go" data collection, which is increasingly requested by users. The Humanities Lab needs to recruit a research engineer with a background in computer vision and machine learning to support hardware installation and the development of analysis tools for mobile eye tracking.
