Key Responsibilities Conduct experimental research on performers, educators, students, and instrument builders interacting with historical keyboard instruments. Apply quantitative and qualitative methods to investigate embodied, perceptual, and experiential aspects of musical engagement. Manage data repositories, coordinate events, and collaborate across project hubs in York, Gothenburg, and Pavia. Contribute to publications, conferences, and public engagement activities. Qualifications PhD (or equivalent research experience) in Music, Psychology, Neuroscience, Cognitive Science, Statistics, or related field. Expertise in experimental psychology, psychometrics, and music cognition, with knowledge of embodied cognition, organology, and historically informed performance. Strong organizational and project management skills, including event coordination and handling multiple research strands.
