Position Overview

Yale’s Catalysis and Separations Core supports synthetic chemistry research, with an emphasis on homogeneous catalysis. The Core contains advanced instrumentation including:

  • UPLC, LC, LCMS, SFC, GC

  • EasyMax for parallel reactions

  • Solid and liquid dispensers for high-throughput experimentation

  • Parallel high-pressure reactors

The Director will:

  • Operate and maintain Core instrumentation

  • Assist early-career researchers with experiments

  • Manage Core budget and user fee structure


Qualifications

  • PhD in synthetic organic or inorganic chemistry

  • Research experience in homogeneous catalysis

  • Expertise in analytical techniques (HPLC, LCMS, GC)

  • Ability to repair and maintain instruments

  • Familiarity with data analysis and coding is a plus
