The University of Tübingen’s Faculty of Protestant Theology is seeking a
to commence in as soon as possible.
The successful candidate should be qualified in the field of Modern Church History with a focus on the 19th and 20th centuries. He or she should be able to represent the field of Church Order and Church History in research and teaching. A proven research interest in the fields of pluralization, secularization or totalitarism is expected.
Cooperation with the Campus of Theologies and collaboration with the Faculty of Law and the Institute for Research on Right-Wing Extremism (IRex) is desired.
Required qualifications include a PhD or equivalent international degree and postdoctoral qualifications equivalent to the requirements for tenure. This includes evidence of teaching aptitude.
