The appointee is expected to: Contribute to undergraduate and graduate teaching in organic chemistry and general chemistry for chemistry majors and minors. Represent the field of organic chemistry in its full spectrum. Participate in academic administration. Candidates are expected to develop an independent, innovative, and internationally visible research profile in organic chemistry, including but not limited to: Development of new synthesis methods Synthesis and investigation of natural products, biologically active compounds, or functional materials Collaboration with other research groups within the Institute of Organic Chemistry, the Faculty of Chemistry and Pharmacy, and other natural sciences faculties is encouraged. Participation in coordinated programmes and research priorities at the University of Münster is desired.
