Job Description

The Syracuse University Experimental Gravitational-Wave Group is soliciting applications for a Postdoctoral Researcher position to conduct research on technology for current and future gravitational-wave detectors.

Experience in one or more of the following areas is desired: optics, electronics, controllers, vacuum systems, or interferometric simulations for gravitational-wave detectors.

The successful candidate should hold a Ph.D. in physics, engineering, or a related field. The initial appointment is for one year, with the possibility of renewal. The position involves both research and advising graduate students within the group.

Qualified candidates should submit their curriculum vitae, a list of publications, a short description of their qualifications, and the contact information for three references through the online application portal.
