The center is led by Linköping University with Lund University as a partner. Work dutiesYou will primarily devote yourself to your doctoral programme, which includes participation in research projects as well as third cycle courses, seminars and conferences. The main duties are to conduct research and teaching at the intersection of cyber-security and software engineering. The research focuses on automated principles for analysing program code. This includes how AI models can be used to analyze and correct software to ensure that it does not contain vulnerabilities. For example, it has been shown that AI-generated code often has significant security flaws. In order to use AI-generated code in high-security applications, the code generation process therefore needs to be made much more robust. The duties include evaluating existing techniques from a security perspective and identifying principles for automatic analysis and code correction. Case studies and experimental research are expected to be central research methods in the doctoral project. The duties also include participation in teaching and other departmental work (however, a maximum of 20% of working hours).
