Primary departmental appointment will align with the candidate’s research focus. Research areas of interest include (but are not limited to): Design of synthetic circuits for self-regulated T cells Engineering immunological cellular ecosystems Genome-scale engineering Engineering cells for therapeutic applications Faculty are expected to develop independent research programs, supervise graduate and undergraduate students, and contribute to teaching. Qualifications Doctoral degree (Ph.D. or equivalent) in biomedicine, cell/molecular biology, synthetic biology, bioengineering, or a related discipline prior to start of employment. Demonstrated research excellence and potential for independent funding. Commitment to teaching, mentoring, and collaboration.
