The research group Personal Rights and Property Rights (PR2), in collaboration with the research group Business and Law of the Faculty of Law at the University of Antwerp is seeking post-doctoral candidates willing to write research proposals for (inter)national funding that tackle the topic of Liability, Responsibility, and Agency: Redefining private law in the era of Autonomous AI, aligning with the research line ‘Distinction between person and thing’. They will benefit from supervision and feedback of professors from both research groups. External and internal post-doc researchers who are eligible to submit an FWO or MSCA post-doc application are invited to apply. The top ranked candidate with the best profile (project proposal & CV) acquire a preparatory post-doctoral research mandate to further develop and submit a competitive research proposal to FWO (Flemish Science Foundation) or MSCA (Horizon Europe Marie Curie fellowships), with the University of Antwerp as host institution. The candidate is expected to deliver at least two applications for postdoctoral positions by the end of their mandate. A preparatory full-time or part-time mandate of at least 6 months for contract-based up to a maximum of 10 months for scholarships (see mobility requirements) will be provided. Profile
