Cosmological Physics and Advanced Computing (CPAC) Group High Energy Physics Division, Argonne National Laboratory Applications are invited for postdoctoral positions in the Cosmological Physics and Advanced Computing (CPAC) Group within Argonne National Laboratory’s High Energy Physics (HEP) Division. Research Scope Cosmological research in CPAC spans theory, modeling, observations, and experiments, with a focus on: Dark energy and dark matter Primordial fluctuations and inflation Neutrinos Large-scale structure and cosmological simulations Theory and Modeling Multi-wavelength survey science Galaxy–halo connection Cluster cosmology Large-scale cosmological simulations Data Analysis CMB power spectra and CMB lensing Galaxy clustering and redshift-space distortions Weak and strong gravitational lensing Artificial intelligence and machine learning (AI/ML) applications Observational Programs Optical surveys: DES, DESI, Roman, Rubin Observatory/LSST, DESC, SPHEREx CMB experiments: SPT Cross-correlations between optical and CMB surveys Available Focus Areas Applicants with experience in any of the above areas will be considered. Current openings include: AI/ML applications to cosmological modeling and survey analysis Weak gravitational lensing analysis with Rubin LSST data (in collaboration with Matthew R.
