PhD Position in Macroeconomics

You will engage in research and teaching activities within the Macroeconomics group of the Department of Economics. Your work will focus on projects related to Monetary Economics and Empirical Macroeconomics, including those involving detailed microdata analysis.

Tasks
• Participation in the Swiss Program for Beginning Doctoral Students in Economics in Gerzensee
• Conducting independent and collaborative research
• Writing a dissertation in the field of Monetary Economics or Empirical Macroeconomics
• Involvement in teaching activities at the Bachelor's and Master's levels
Requirements
• Outstanding Master's degree in Economics or a related field, to be completed by Summer 2025
• Strong foundation in quantitative economics, economic modeling, empirical methods
• Solid programming skills
• Keen interest in economic research
