Position Overview

The Department of Electrical and Systems Engineering seeks outstanding candidates in all areas of electrical and systems engineering, with particular emphasis on:

  • Computer Engineering

  • Photonics/Electromagnetics

Candidates should demonstrate exceptional promise or an established record of research achievement and be prepared to:

  • Lead internationally recognized research in their field

  • Excel in undergraduate and graduate education

  • Engage in cross-disciplinary and multi-disciplinary collaborations

The department encourages candidates with diverse experiences and perspectives and provides support for dual-career couples.


Required Qualifications

  • Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Systems Engineering, or a related area

  • Evidence of potential for or established research leadership

  • Commitment to teaching excellence at undergraduate and graduate levels
