Within the discipline for courses in Fall 2024, Winter 2025, Spring 2025, and/or Summer 2025, we seek part-time lecturers in the field of Chemistry to teach laboratory and lecture courses in Introductory, General, or Organic Chemistry as well as Biochemistry and Forensic Chemistry or related disciplines. Duties include, but are not limited to, presenting course material during the assigned course times, holding office hours, administering exams/tests, assigning grades, and coordinating any other requirements related to course instruction as well as preparing material for the course. Rutgers University–Camden is a diverse, research-intensive campus of 7,000+ students located in Camden, New Jersey, directly across the Delaware River from Philadelphia. The campus emphasizes civic engagement and was selected by the Carnegie Foundation for the Advancement of Teaching for its Community Engagement classification. Statement
The Faculty of Arts and Sciences are the largest academic unit at Rutgers–Camden, delivering a wide array of degree programs at the baccalaureate, master’s, and doctoral levels in the humanities, natural sciences, social sciences, and fine arts. The Faculty of Arts and Sciences includes three schools: the College of Arts and Sciences, University College, and the Graduate School.

Immunization Requirements

Under Policy 100.3.1 Immunization Policy for Covered Individuals, if employment will commence during Flu Season, Rutgers University may require certain prospective employees to provide proof that they are vaccinated against Seasonal Influenza for the current Flu Season, unless the University has granted the individual a medical or religious exemption.
