Lecturer in NursingFACULTY OF HEALTH SCIENCES SCHOOL OF NURSNG VACANCY NO: IRC 1624 Duties: The successful candidate will be expected to: (i) teach post-graduate and undergraduate level courses in Emergency Nursing/Trauma and Emergency Nursing; (ii) supervise undergraduate student’s projects as need may arise; (iii) participate in all academic and professional activities of the department including research; (iv) and carry out any other duties as may be assigned by the Head of Department. Requirements: Applicants should possess: (i) a PhD in Nursing; (ii) a Master’s degree in Nursing Science in Emergency Nursing/Trauma and Emergency Nursing; (iii) a Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing Science; (iv) show evidence of engagement in research. Evidence of governance and social engagement in Nursing Science in Emergency Nursing/Trauma and Emergency Nursing, as well as teaching experience at a University or comparable institution will be added advantages. N.B. Applicants with Master’s Degree in Nursing Science in Emergency Nursing/Trauma and Emergency Nursing with a Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing Science of at least 2(i) pass/GPA of at least 3.6 or equivalent may be considered under special circumstances.
