Lecturer in Management (University of Botswana )

The Faculty of Business invites applications from suitably qualified persons for the post of lecturer in Management. Duties: The successful candidate will be expected to: (i) Teach Logistics and Supply Chain Management courses to undergraduate and graduate students; courses include, but are not limited to Purchasing, Supply Chain Management, Logistics Management and other related Management courses (ii) Supervise students’ research projects, theses and dissertations at both undergraduate and graduate levels; (iii) Supervise students in internship (iv) Participate in all academic and professional service activities of the department as well as community service, normally associated with a University lectureship; (v) Undertake any other duties as may be assigned by the Head of Department. The department reserves the right to allocate other courses in addition to those outlined above; (vi) the successful candidate will be expected to conduct research in his/her area of expertise. Requirements: Applicants should have: (i) a PhD in Management or related fields; (ii) Master's degree in Management or related fields, (iii) a Bachelor's Degree in Management or related fields with at least 2(i) pass/GPA of at least 3.6 or equivalent; (iv)evidence of engagement in research. The following will be added advantages: (i) evidence of Governance and Social Engagement; (ii) teaching experience at a University or comparable institution preferably in Entrepreneurship. N.B In special circumstances a Masters' degree in Management or related fields with a Bachelor's degree in Management or related fields of at least 2(i) pass/GPA of at least 3.6 or equivalent may be considered.
