Position Summary The Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering (ECE) at Ritchie School of Engineering and Computer Science at the University of Denver is looking to hire adjunct instructors to teach a variety of courses in topics including but not limited to Electrical Engineering and Computer Engineering. This posting will serve for multiple openings. Work Schedule While the University's administrative offices are open Monday – Friday, 8:00 am – 4:30 pm, faculty schedules vary from term to term and are based on courses taught, service commitments, and research agendas. The University's academic calendars are posted on the registrar's website (the law school is on a semester system and has a different academic calendar). Course Rate Adjunct faculty are compensated at a rate of $5,949-$10,000 per course for standard courses in the ECE department depending on type of class and experience of candidate. Pay for Summer courses is based on enrollment. If you are selected to teach for Summer, you will be informed of the Summer Pay Scale at that time. Enrollment below 3 deems that the class should be canceled and no teaching nor compensation will be allowed. PLEASE NOTE: Teaching the Undergrad and Grad section of the same course counts as a single course load and you will be compensated $5,949.00-$10,000 for both sections.
