Overview

NYU Shanghai invites applications for multiple tenured and tenure-track positions in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, and Data Science at all ranks. Outstanding candidates across areas of AI, systems, theory, human-AI interaction, and applied interdisciplinary research are encouraged to apply.

Faculty appointments are comparable to NYU New York with respect to salary, research start-up funds, and include housing and educational subsidies. Faculty may have opportunities to collaborate or teach at other NYU global campuses.

Qualifications

• PhD in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, Applied Mathematics, or closely related fields.

• Exceptional research potential with a strong record of publications.

• Interest in teaching and mentoring in a global, interdisciplinary environment.

• Special interest in candidates whose work complements existing clusters in machine learning, AI, and theory.
