The Department of Agricultural Chemistry at National Taiwan University seeks applicants for a tenure-track position of assistant professor or higher level to conduct teaching and research activities in the field of Food Chemistry, Food Analysis, Food Processing or the combination of above mentioned. The starting date for this position is August 1, 2025.

I. Qualifications:
1. Applicants must hold a Ph.D. degree from a domestic or international university recognized by the Ministry of Education with more than 2 years’ postdoctoral training or practical industry R&D are particularly preferred.
2. Investigators in fields of Food Chemistry, Food Analysis, Food Processing or the combination of above mentioned are welcome to apply.
3. Candidates must have the ability to teach in English and Chinese.

II. Documents required for application include:
1. A cover letter indicating the intended position (i.e. Assistant Professor, Associate Professor or Professor) and relevant information of three recommenders.
2. Curriculum vitae (with a photo).
3. Proof of academic and professional experience (For foreign qualifications, validation by Embassies of Republic of China (Taiwan) is required). Applicants for Assistant Professorship must include transcripts for undergraduate and graduate studies. If the institution does not require coursework, an official statement signed by the institution or the advisor should be included.
4. A teaching plan including courses that can be taught and relevant teaching experience. It must align with the departments required courses, and propose an interdisciplinary courses that integrate Food Chemistry, Food Analysis, Food Processing, and other foundational/applied sciences.
5. Research plans.
6. List of publications (please mark the representative publication).
7. The PDF file (full article) of the representative publication published within the last five years (since August 1, 2020). The representative publication must be an original research article published in SCI (SSCI, A&HCI) journal, and the applicant should be the first or corresponding author. Applicants for Assistant Professorship may use their doctoral thesis completed after August 1, 2022 as their representative work.
8. PDF files (full article) of all reference publications published within the last seven years (since August 1, 2018, or accepted ones with proof).
9. Any other relevant application materials.
10. Three letters of recommendation: recommenders should send them directly to the email address of the New Faculty Recruitment Committee: htchen@ntu.edu.tw.
