Job Description

The United Arab Emirates University invites applications for a new position of Mathematics Instructor. Candidates should demonstrate a strong commitment to teaching excellence at the foundation undergraduate level and actively contribute to the growth of the UAE University. Application packages should include a cover letter, detailed resume, teaching philosophy statement, course list, and three recommendation letters. The successful candidate will teach exclusively at the Zayed Military Center Program (ZMC), not at the main UAEU Al Maqam campus. Responsibilities include teaching foundation mathematics courses to newly admitted students in the College of Engineering, which serve as prerequisites for Calculus 1 and Linear Algebra 1. Flexibility to adapt to a changing schedule is essential. English proficiency is required for instruction and communication. Screening of applications begins immediately and continues until the position is filled.

Minimum Qualification

Candidates must hold at least a Master's degree in Mathematics, demonstrate excellence in undergraduate teaching, and possess strong communication skills in English.

Preferred Qualification

Good experience in teaching (at least 5 years) at all levels starting from the Foundation of Mathematics.
