Instructor position in the School of Biological Sciences, Louisiana Tech University. This is a nine-month, non-tenure-track faculty teaching position (90% teaching/advising and 10% service). Position is available to begin September 1, 2025. This position requires a minimum of an earned M.S. in Biology or a closely related field. Prior teaching experience is desired. 

 

The successful applicant will teach nine credit hours per academic quarter, including Human Anatomy and Physiology I and II lecture courses (BISC 225 and BISC 227), and Human Anatomy and Physiology I and II Laboratory courses (BISC 226 and BISC 228), as well as possibly other courses in the candidate’s area of expertise; this position also contributes to academic advising of undergraduate students. 

 

Our School is a dynamic, collegial unit with 30 faculty and approximately 600 undergraduate and 40 graduate students (M.S. and Ph.D.). Louisiana Tech University (http://www.latech.edu) is a comprehensive university located in Ruston, a small college town of 24,000 residents, in north central Louisiana.
