Position Type: Part-time (20%), fixed-term position through to 31st December 2027 About This OpportunityStep into a pivotal academic leadership role shaping the next generation of safe, confident prescribers at UQ. As the Specialty Lead for Clinical Pharmacology and Prescribing Skills Development, you will guide high-quality learning and assessment in the Year 4 MD curriculum, supporting students as they master core clinical pharmacology concepts and essential prescribing skills. Working in partnership with discipline teams, the Academy for Medical Education and our three Clinical Schools, you will drive continuous improvement in learning outcomes, teaching practice, resources and assessment. Your leadership will also ensure UQ maximises the benefits of its involvement in the national Prescribing Skills Assessment, strengthening student preparedness and success. This is an outstanding opportunity for a Teaching-Focused Senior Lecturer to expand their impact at program and discipline level and contribute to an innovative, student-centred MD program.
