As we expand our offerings with a new MSc DAI for Enterprise in 2025, we seek a dynamic leader to drive these programmes forward, ensuring they remain at the forefront of education and industry relevance. The Head of Programme–Design and Artificial Intelligence (HoP-DAI) will join the SUTD leadership team to shape and evolve the programme’s strategic vision. The ideal candidate will have an established career in design, a demonstrated interest in applying generative AI, and the ability to lead academic and industry collaborations. A passion for education and mentoring both undergraduate and postgraduate students is essential. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Programme Leadership: Shape the evolution of DAI programmes to align with AI advancements and maintain strong industry relevance. Academic Excellence: Mentor faculty to foster innovation, research, and collaboration across disciplines. Industry Collaboration: Work closely with industry partners to ensure programme relevance, curate cutting-edge content, and support work-learn opportunities. CET Development: Design and manage Continuous Education and Training (CET) courses based on core DAI content. Community Engagement: Uphold and contribute to SUTD’s D.AI.Tech philosophy, working with DesignZ Leads and other community stakeholders. IDEAL EXPERIENCE Proven leadership in design with practical applications of generative AI. Strong academic standing or comparable industry role with experience in educational programme management.
