The Role The Director of the Queensland Brain Institute (QBI) will lead one of the world’s premier neuroscience research institutes, driving a bold and innovative vision for the future of brain research in Queensland and globally. This role encompasses academic excellence, strategic direction, and external engagement, fostering a collaborative and high-performing research environment. The Director will champion the translation of groundbreaking discoveries into real-world impact by cultivating strong partnerships across industry, government, healthcare, and the broader community. With a focus on securing significant research funding, mentoring emerging scientific leaders, and promoting innovation, the Director will ensure QBI remains at the forefront of neuroscience, delivering transformative outcomes that improve lives.
