The Glucksman Chair was established through the generosity of UL Friend and UL Foundation Director, Dr Loretta Brennan Glucksman, and her late husband, Dr Lewis L. Glucksman, reflecting their interest in contemporary Ireland and modern Irish literature. Job Synopsis The Glucksman Chair in Contemporary Writing in English focuses on 20th and 21st-Century Writing in English, with an emphasis on contemporary writing. While Irish writers may be favoured, the primary focus is contemporary writing in English.
