About HE Higher Education Ranking

HE Higher Education Ranking is an independent global ranking initiative built around published performance indicators and open participation, so comparisons remain clear, constructive, and useful for institutions, students, and policymakers.

The methodology evaluates institutional performance through 25 criteria and 130+ measurable Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) across governance and management, teaching and student success, research and innovation, internationalization, quality assurance and accreditation, digital infrastructure, sustainability, equity and inclusion, and labor-market relevance. HERanking is published independently as an American ranking system and is legally registered in Dover (Kent County), Delaware, USA.
