Key Responsibilities Teaching Deliver high-quality lectures, practical sessions, and clinical instruction in large animal medicine and surgery. Employ innovative teaching strategies to ensure an engaging, inclusive, and student-centered learning environment. Establishment of Clinical Teaching Facility Lead and contribute to the establishment of a veterinary clinical teaching facility with a strong emphasis on large animal clinical services. Plan, design, and implement clinical infrastructure at the Al Foah University Farm. Ensure alignment with international standards for veterinary education and large-animal clinical practice. Development of Clinical Skills Laboratory Collaborate in the development of a comprehensive clinical skills laboratory focused on large animal procedures. Enable students to gain hands-on experience in diagnostic, medical, surgical, and anaesthetic techniques relevant to large animal species. Curriculum Development Actively participate in the development and continuous enhancement of the clinical veterinary curriculum. Ensure curriculum content reflects current advances and best practices in large animal medicine and surgery. Research Engage in scholarly research in large animal medicine and surgery. Collaborate with colleagues within and outside the department. Establish and maintain a productive research program leading to peer-reviewed publications and external funding. Student Mentorship Provide academic and professional mentorship to veterinary students. Supervise senior projects and internships. Offer career guidance, particularly in large animal practice.
