Position Description

The Biology Instructional Office invites applications for a full-time instructional faculty member for the 2026–2027 academic year.

Primary duties include:

  • Teaching lower-division undergraduate courses in genetics and introductory biology (candidates must be qualified to teach both areas)

  • Participating in service and committee assignments

  • Contributing to curriculum development

  • Engaging in professional development opportunities

The teaching load is 3 courses per semester.


Qualifications

  • Ph.D. in Genetics, Genomics, or Biology required

  • Previous teaching experience strongly preferred

  • Must be eligible to work in the U.S. full-time without sponsorship
