DescriptionThe Department of Psychology at Yale University invites applications for an Assistant Professor in Clinical Psychology position to start on July 1, 2026. Applications can be from those whose research programs fit into any area of clinical psychology. The successful applicant will be expected to teach a service course (a broader psychology course) and/or a smaller seminar (often on the topic of their choosing). Priority will be given to outstanding scholars who will contribute effectively to research, as well as, the undergraduate and graduate teaching and mentoring programs of the University. QualificationsEligible applicants must have a Ph.D. or equivalent degree at the time of hire. Please also arrange for three letters of recommendation. Research StatementsThe research statement should consist of two parts (uploaded as two separate documents).
Teaching StatementThe teaching statement (1000 words max) should include a summary of the applicant’s teaching style in (formal courses) and out (mentoring, supervision) the classroom.
