This position provides psycho-oncology services for the Sylvester Comprehensive Cancer Center, which may include: Mental health screenings Psychological assessment Individual and family therapy Education Requirements Psy.D. or Ph.D. required Florida license to practice psychology required Additional Skills Excellent interpersonal and communication skills Record of mentoring students is highly desirable Post-doctoral training in psycho-oncology is highly preferred Experience evaluating culturally diverse populations is highly preferred Job Duties & Responsibilities Primary Responsibilities: Conduct mental health screenings and brief psychological interventions Provide comprehensive mental health services, including: Psychological assessment and testing Family and group therapy Behavioral management Identify patients requiring psychiatric evaluation Note: This list is not all-inclusive and may be expanded to include other duties or responsibilities as necessary.
