Applications are invited from highly qualified research-active individuals for multiple tenure-track faculty positions in the Computer Science program within the College of Engineering and Science (COES) at Louisiana Tech University.
The vision of the College of Engineering and Science at Louisiana Tech University is to be a world leader in integrating engineering and science in education and research. Both the College as a whole, and the Computer Science program in particular, is experiencing significant growth. In fact, with a fall 2024 undergraduate enrollment in excess of 550 students, Computer Science is the second largest degree granting program at the University.
The successful candidate must have earned a Ph.D. degree in Computer Science or a closely related field. A proven record of accomplishment in research, outstanding teaching skills, excellent written and oral communication skills, and a demonstrated commitment to high-quality student success are prerequisites for the position. Applications from individuals specializing in all aspects of computing are welcome to apply and will be considered, with particular attention given to those with a focus on Cyber Security or AI / ML.
Tenure track faculty are expected to perform exceptional research, procure extramural funding to support research, advise graduate and undergraduate students, collaborate with other faculty, and teach effectively at undergraduate and graduate levels.

Both undergraduate and graduate degrees are offered by the College, including the BS and MS in Computer Science, the BS in Cyber Engineering, the Ph.D. in Computational Analysis and Modeling (CAM), and the Ph.D. in Engineering with a concentration in Cyberspace.
