About the Department of ChemistryThe Department of Chemistry conducts research across all core areas of chemistry with a strong focus on contributing to a sustainable society. The department comprises three main units:
Analytical chemistry education and research are primarily hosted within CAS, which includes around 15 research groups working across organic, inorganic, analytical, and materials chemistry, as well as polymer technology. The department benefits from close links to world-class research infrastructures, including MAX IV and the European Spallation Source (ESS), and provides excellent access to advanced facilities such as mass spectrometry, ICP-MS, NMR, electron microscopy, cleanrooms, synthesis laboratories, and high-performance computing resources. The PositionLund University invites applications for a six-year tenure-track position as Associate Senior Lecturer in Analytical Chemistry. The position is designed to support early-career researchers in establishing an independent academic profile, with a clear pathway to promotion to Senior Lecturer (permanent) and eventually Professor.
