Position Overview

The Department of Chemistry invites applications for a Teaching Assistant Professor with responsibilities including:

  • Innovative teaching in biochemistry and first-year undergraduate programs.

  • Development of engaging, evidence-based teaching approaches.

  • Cooperative teaching of large-enrollment undergraduate courses.

  • Supporting the success of a diverse student population.


Minimum Qualifications

  • Ph.D. in Chemistry, Biochemistry, Biophysics, Molecular Biology, or a related field.


Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience teaching large undergraduate courses.

  • Commitment to evidence-based pedagogy and student success.

  • Ability to engage and mentor students from diverse backgrounds.
