Position Overview

The Department of Chemistry at the University of Chicago invites applications for tenure-track Assistant Professor positions in the research areas of Origins of Life or Inorganic Chemistry, broadly defined. Joint appointments with other departments are possible.

Review of applications will begin November 15, 2025, and continue until all positions are filled or the search is closed.


Qualifications

  • Completion of all requirements for a Ph.D. or foreign equivalent in Chemistry or a related field by the time of hire.
