Job Description

The Chemical and Petroleum Engineering Department (CPE) at the United Arab Emirates University (UAEU) invites application for a full-time faculty position in Chemical Engineering at the level of Assistant Professor. Recognized for its academic excellence, the UAEU consistently ranks among the top universities in the region. All engineering programs, including the Chemical Engineering, are accredited by the Accreditation Board for Engineering and Technology (ABET) and The Commission for Academic Accreditation (CAA) of the UAE. The successful candidate is expected to teach and develop undergraduate and postgraduate courses, establish productive research and secure research funds internally and externally, supervise M.Sc. and PhD students, and participate in committees at the Department, College and University levels.

Minimum Qualification

Candidates should have a Ph.D. in Chemical Engineering with a strong track record in research.

Preferred Qualification

1) Experience in developing and teaching courses in Biochemical Engineering. 2) A strong publication record in reputable journals 3) Ability to secure research funds, both internally and externally 4) Ability to develop and effectively teach a variety of undergraduate and graduate courses 5) Strong communication skills
