Position: Assistant Professor – Aging, Senescence, and Tissue Regeneration Position OverviewThe Terrence Donnelly Centre (Donnelly Centre) and the Department of Biochemistry invite applications for a full-time tenure stream position in aging, cellular senescence, and/or tissue regeneration. This is a joint appointment: 51% at the Donnelly Centre and 49% in the Department of Biochemistry, at the rank of Assistant Professor, with an anticipated start date of September 1, 2026. The successful candidate will establish an innovative research program exploring molecular and cellular mechanisms of aging and senescence, with applications to tissue regeneration, age-related diseases, or longevity. Candidates who employ cutting-edge approaches—such as genetic and epigenetic analysis, organoid models, regenerative biology, senescence-targeted therapeutics, single-cell omics, spatial transcriptomics, CRISPR screens, or live-cell imaging—are particularly encouraged to apply.
