In addition to the University appointment, the successful candidate will hold a concurrent Embedded Scientist position at the Science of Care Institute at Sinai Health for a renewable six-year term, subject to favorable review. This position focuses on advancing research, teaching, and system transformation at the intersection of organizational behaviour, implementation science, and advanced health technologies. Research Focus and Areas of Interest The Institute seeks candidates whose scholarship addresses the design, implementation, evaluation, scaling, and sustainability of advanced technologies in health and health care, including but not limited to: Artificial intelligence and automation Data-driven decision-support systems Ethical, equitable, and risk-conscious technology integration Key research challenges include: Integrating advanced technologies into organizational workflows and practices Monitoring and evaluating implementation and impact Sustaining and scaling innovations within complex health systems Strong alignment with systems thinking, organizational change, leadership, governance, and workforce transformation is expected.
