This position includes 70% teaching and 30% research responsibilities. Cornell’s Department of Landscape Architecture has over 120 years of national recognition for excellence in teaching pedagogies, emphasizing responsible, engaged, and creative design. Degrees offered: MLA: Foundational, historical, theoretical, technical, and skills-based grounding in landscape architecture MPS: One-year immersive course of study including a collaborative research project BSLA: Undergraduate professional degree combining sciences, humanities, and studio-based design curriculum The department seeks candidates who recognize the complex history of landscape architecture in contributing to inequities in the built environment and who aim to create more equitable futures.
