Role Overview We are seeking an Assistant Professor in Accounting to contribute to teaching, research, and academic leadership within Nottingham University Business School China. The successful candidate will: Lead and develop individual or collaborative research projects and proposals. Disseminate research findings through high-quality national and international journals, conferences, and other platforms. Deliver teaching across a range of modules within the accounting discipline and provide curriculum leadership. Design and maintain course modules and programs of study, ensuring quality and relevance. Supervise and examine undergraduate, postgraduate, and PhD students. Candidate Requirements PhD in Accounting or a closely related field. Professional qualifications such as ACCA or CPA are preferred. Demonstrated breadth or depth of specialist knowledge to develop research programmes and methodologies. Evidence of a publication record, or clear potential for publishing in high-quality international journals. Experience in teaching within an agreed quality framework, with a proven record of success. Excellent oral and written English communication skills. Remuneration & Benefits Successful candidates will receive: A five-year contract, extendable by mutual agreement. Salary in the range RMB 450,190 – 592,815 per annum, depending on qualifications and experience.
