The successful candidate will be an academic clinician demonstrating scholarly achievement and clinical excellence. Eligibility is required for a full-time clinical academic appointment at the rank of Lecturer, Assistant Professor, Associate Professor, or Full Professor at the University of Toronto. The position will follow the academic position description of Clinician Investigator, Clinician in Quality and Innovation, or Clinician Teacher. Effective start date: April 1, 2026, or as soon as possible. Key Responsibilities Provide comprehensive outpatient rehabilitation care for patients with spine, sports, hand, and musculoskeletal injuries. Perform ultrasound- and fluoroscopic-guided procedures. Conduct electrodiagnostic assessments. Lead educational and research initiatives in ultrasound, regenerative medicine, and interventional physiatry. Contribute to development and delivery of integrated models of care across acute, outpatient, and interdisciplinary rehabilitation settings. Collaborate across UHN sites including Toronto Rehab, Toronto Western Hospital, and Mount Sinai Hospital. Qualifications MD degree. Eligible for or holding Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada certification and fellowship in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation. Licensure by the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Ontario. Completion of or readiness to complete advanced training (Masters or equivalent) in innovation, quality improvement, research, or teaching. Advanced Fellowship training in interventional pain management, sports, and spine medicine is an important asset. Compensation Remuneration includes base support from the Alternative Funding Program plus fee-for-clinical-service income, commensurate with qualifications and experience.
