The exquisite sensitivity of the 14T MRI system will allow spectroscopic measurements with unprecedented spatial and temporal resolution. Access to spatial distributions of neurotransmitter signals will open new windows on human brain function. Research areas may include the development of metabolic imaging techniques and measuring dynamic changes in metabolite concentrations. You will be encouraged to acquire independent funding and collaborate with teams in the DYNAMIC initiative. In addition to the 14T system, you will have access to other imaging facilities at the Donders Institute, including 3T systems in Nijmegen and a 7T system at the Erwin L.
