Faculty: Faculty of Veterinary Medicine Position OverviewUtrecht University invites applications for a Junior Embryologist / IVF Technician within the Reproduction Team of the Equine Clinic. The position also involves research activities with the Reproductive Genetics team. You will support a dynamic clinical program in in vitro production and preservation of horse embryos, including:
You will also contribute to developing a non-invasive preimplantation genetic testing (PGT) system for equine embryos. During the horse breeding season (March–August), you will participate in a 1-in-4 rota for embryo thawing on weekends and public holidays. Beyond clinical duties, you will support the teaching and research activities of the team, focusing on solutions for infertility in animals and humans.
