Salary: Grade 7, £38,784 – £46,049 per annum, pro rata if part-time


About the role

We are seeking a Research Fellow to join an MRC-funded transdisciplinary hub focused on decarbonising the commissioning and delivery of healthcare. You will work on Sub-Theme 4 – Digital and Remote Care Pathways, under the leadership of:

  • Professor Mahmood Bhutta, Brighton and Sussex Medical School (Programme Lead)

  • Professor Dimitra Petrakaki, University of Sussex Business School (Sub-Theme Lead)

Your research will focus on identifying and evaluating sustainable innovations in digital healthcare pathways.


About you

  • You will have, or be about to obtain, a PhD in a field relevant to digital and remote healthcare pathways, or equivalent research experience in this subject area.

  • You should be able to manage your own workload independently while collaborating effectively with the team.

  • Experience in policy influence or advocacy work to drive real-world impact is highly desirable.
