University of Chicago DescriptionThe Department of the Geophysical Sciences at the University of Chicago invites applications for tenured faculty positions at the rank of Professor. The search is open to any area within the field of Earth and planetary sciences and related interdisciplinary research, including research programs that would complement or expand the department’s strengths in geochemistry/cosmochemistry, geophysics, planetary evolution or those whose work is aligned with the efforts of the University’s Center for the Origins of Life. We seek individuals who will lead world-class research programs and enhance the intellectual endeavors of the department and the university.
