Develop and implement an integrated corporate communications strategy aligned with Constructor University’s goals and values Lead external communications efforts including media relations, press releases, thought leadership, and crisis communications Manage relationships with key media outlets, journalists, and other stakeholders. Oversee internal communications strategy to foster transparency, engagement, and alignment across all levels of the organization Partner with senior leadership to support executive visibility, including speaking engagements, op-eds, interviews, and social media Drive strategic messaging and consistent brand voice across all corporate channels Manage reputation and issue monitoring, providing counsel on public affairs and risk mitigation Manage relationships with external communications agencies and consultants Provide clear direction and professional development to direct reports, ensuring alignment with the overall communications strategy Lead and inspire a high-performing communications team, as well as agency partners and consultants Collaborate with Investor Relations, Marketing, Legal, and HR to ensure cohesive messaging and integrated campaigns Measure and report on the impact and effectiveness of communications activities
Lead and manage a small, high-performing team, including: Press Spokesperson, responsible for media relations, press inquiries, and proactive positioning of the company in the public sphere Internal Communications Officer, responsible for cross-company messaging, employee engagement campaigns, and leadership communication
University degree in Communications, Journalism, Public Relations, or a related field Professional experience in public relations, editing, event communication, content development, corporate or scientific communication on the corporate/university or agency side Proven track record in managing high-profile media relations and crisis communications Strong writing, editing, and storytelling skills across formats and audiences Interest in science and higher education policy issues Experience in leading a team and the ability to work actoss functions and cultures to influence stakeholders and drive results Deep understanding of corporate reputation management and stakeholder engagement Experience working with C-level executives and handling sensitive, high-stakes communications Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, global, and highly dynamic environment Comfortable working in a highly international and intercultural environment Strong sense of ownership, professionalism, and personal reliability Collaborative and team-oriented approach, with excellent interpersonal skills Eagerness to learn, grow, and adapt in a dynamic and fast-paced environment
